Happy Birthday to Nancy Reafler May 27th and Happy Anniversary to Morgan & Jessica McDonald May 24th.
Today we welcomed Rev Ron Gilreath back to deliver a great message.
Lifelines(Sunday School) concluded today. Many Thanks to Margaret Miller for her leadership.
May 21: Women's Lunch Devotional at noon at the Carriage House Restaurant - contact Margaret Miller if you have a question.
June 19: JPC goes to Gwinnett Stripers game. See the May 10th blog for details or see info on the Narthex table. Money for tickets is due June 7th. Tickets will be distributed June 14th.
We would like to keep our prayer list updated and current. The Session approved a change to the way it's handled. A name or situation will remain on the prayer list for 4 weeks. After that time frame it will be removed unless there is a continued need. Please share that information with us and we will gladly leave the person or situation on the list. To be respectful of privacy, we will not publish "answers to prayer" unless specifically requested to do so.
What's next for JPC? That's a very important question. This past week, Session met with Rev Jacob Douylliez(stated clerk for the Presbytery), to learn what we need to do, moving along in God's service. Information and updates will be shared as we make progress. In the meantime, please continue to pray for the Session and each other.
May God bless you today and always. From your friends at JPC.
