We were blessed to have Ron Gilreath with us Sunday. The entire service including Ron's " Suffering for the Gospel " message is on our youtube channel if you missed it.
Happy Birthday to Alicia McGee and Karen Evans !
Sunday we had a Church Picnic at Hurricane Shoals Park. It was August in Georgia weather but the fellowship was good and the kids enjoyed the water. Great get together and want to give a BIG thank you to Robert, Sylvia, Ken, and everyone else who helped make this possible.
JPC got a "Thank You" letter from North Jackson for our contributions to their Care Closet. We also want to thank Tim and Connie for coordinating this mission outreach.
Ladies Lunch & Devotional is gathering at Beef O' Brady's 8/17 at noon. Thanks Margaret.
Saturday August 22 from 10AM-2PM we'll have a kitchen clean-up. September 6th there'll be a brief congregational meeting after worship to elect a member to the elder nominating committee. JPC will have some new window decals and mugs available in the narthex soon.
Have a great week and try to stay cool. Your friends at JPC.
