EXCITING TIMES AT JEFFERSON PRESBYTERIAN!!
Celebration of Life for Carol Shannon
A celebration of Carol Jane Shannon's life was held at JPC on Sunday, Sept 29, 2024. Carol Jane Shannon, born Dec14, 1959, at Whiteman Air Force Base in Johnson, Mo, passed away on Sept 21,2024, leaving a profound impact on all who knew her. Carol was a loving wife, sister, and friend, cherished by her husband and her family. Known for her kind spirit and radiant smile, she had a remarkable ability to brighten the lives of those around her.
Carol found joy in fishing and hunting, often sharing her adventures with her husband, family and friends. She had a passion for gardening, and she not only nurtured her garden, but also inspired others to embrace their love for plants, generously sharing her knowledge and green thumb with many. Carols warmth and compassion extended to all aspects of her life. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her kindness, her smile, and the love she poured into everything she did.
Carol is survived by her devoted husband Wendell Shannon, her brother Robert Slocum (Sue), her sister Barbara Tebben (Dennis), and many nieces and nephews.
Carol Jane Shannon will be dearly missed, but her spirit will live on in the lives she touched.
