Faith, Work, Love...Welcome to JPC

"In Christ Jesus...the only thing that matters is faith working through love"



This statement from Saint Paul sums up our ministry at Jefferson Presbyterian.

We live by faith in God and teach every portion of His Word.

We believe and live the Gospel of Jesus in a plain and concrete manner.

We trust the Holy Spirit to guide us as individuals and as a faith community.

We work out our faith in acts of charity, compassion, and hospitality.

We care for the poor, the aged, the sick, and nurture the young.

We support and house other ministries who show mercy to the needy.

We seek to fulfill the two great commandments of love:

 We strive to love God with abandon and obedience.

 We strive to love all people - our sisters and  brothers in Christ, the stranger, even our enemies -  with the same love that         Jesus has shown us.

We are able to do these things only with God's help.

Thus we continuously pray that the Fruit of the Spirit - love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, self-control - be in our hearts, our mission, and our ministry to this community.

And we pray in benediction each Sunday that we go into the world with the faith of Jesus, to love the Lord with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, to love our neighbors as we do ourselves, and to do the good works of righteousness
